An Invitation To Jesusイエスの招き

An Invitation To Jesus

This is a piece that Kazuo Ohno's yearning dream to dance in a church comes true. Kazuo danced in Church of St. Fiacre in Nancy and Saint-Jacques-du-Haut-Pas Church in Paris during his first tour in Europe in 1980.

In his essay An Invitation To Jesus: Offering Jesus, The Great Butoh Dancer And Teacher, Kazuo wortes: As a believer in Christ, as well as a butoh dancer, I've always dreamt to dance in church. To me, believing is dancing and dancing is beleiving. To me, dancing butoh and believing is one thing.
